We’re proud to announce the launch of our app Nightshift. Nightshift helps amateur astronomers and casual stargazers to find the best opportunities for astronomical observation, using location-specific darkness and weather data.
Nightshift comes bundeld with a database of over 13.000 deepsky objects and gives specific observation advice for all of them, such as best time to observe and visibility indication for several telescopes.
Other features:
- phases and illuminated fraction of the moon and planets
- rise and set times
- observing highlights at a glance
- cloud cover, precipitation, temperature and humidity forecast.
All observing opportunities can be shared with your social network and added to your calendar directly.
